BERMUDEZ Alfredo
PhD in Mathematics from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC),
is currently Professor in the area of Applied Mathematics and coordinator of the research group entitled "Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Simulation in Engineering".
Since 2006, he also coordinates the Technology Transfer area at the Spanish National Agency of Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP).
He has directed or co-directed 20 doctoral theses and published over a hundred articles in journals of impact in his field.
He has also been vice-rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela.
He is a member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences and in 1997 he was awarded its annual prize.
