Habilitation Laurent D. Cohen

The ``Habilitation a diriger des recherches'' is a kind of superPhD passed after a few years of active research and student supervision. This diploma is necessary to be offically supervisor for PhD students and also permits to get upgrade positions. There is a defense with a jury composed of 3 reviewers (rapporteurs) and at least 2 other examinors (see bottom of this page). The manuscript is usually divided in two parts: a synthesis of the research activity of about 50 pages and a collection of main contributions.

Part 1: Habilitation Manuscript (70 pages in French)

Methodes Variationnelles en Traitement d'images This presents a synthesis of my research between 1983 and 1995 (3.5M) (short biography) :

Part 2: Collection of Publications (250 pages in English)
