Research Interests

Current research interests include :

• Adaptive sparse representations for textures: in order to perform efficient processing of texture, we develop new geometric schemes based on recent advanced in image processing. These tools include dictionary learned from data, geometrical grouplets and bandelets, manifold-valued functions and texture+structure decompositions. Ask for preprints.
• Complexity of natural images in the visual cortex: we seek for a biologically-inspired analysis/synthesis framework to parameterize the complexity of natural scenes.
