| **EFI** is a collaborative research project funded by the French [[http://www.agence-nationale-recherche.fr/|Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR)]] for the period **2018-2022**. It is coordinated by Jean Dolbeault (Paris-Dauphine) and Arnaud Guillin (Clermont-Ferrand) and connects mathematicians across several research centers in France. EFI means **Entropy, Flows, Inequalities**. It is motivated by the study of mathematical models arising in biology and physics, and centered around probabilistic and non-linear analysis methods known as //entropy methods//.
