EFI is a research project funded by the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) for the period 2017-2020. It is coordinated by Jean Dolbeault (Paris-Dauphine) and Arnaud Guillin (Clermont-Ferrand).
EFI connects French researchers in Analysis and Probability across several research centers in France. EFI means Entropy, Flows, Inequalities. This collaborative research project, centered around probabilistic and non-linear analysis methods known as ``entropy methods'', is motivated by the study of mathematical models arising in biology and physics.
