+Abstract: Let $X = \{ X(t),t \in \mathbb R^N\}$ be a centered Gaussian random field with values in $\mathbb R^d$ satisfying certain conditions and let $F \subset \mathbb R^d$ be a Borel set. In the talk, we provide a sufficient condition for $F$ to be polar for $X$, i.e. $P(X(t) \in F$ for some $t \in \mathbb R^N$) = 0, which improves significantly the existence results. We provide a variety of examples of Gaussian random field for which our result is applicable. Moreover, we solve a problem on the existence of collisions of the eigenvalues of random matrices with Gaussian random field entries that was left open in literature.

+    * 15h30-16h30: Séminaire de **Aron Wennman** //A PDE approach to polynomial Bergman kernels and planar orthogonal polynomials.//
+Abstract: In this talk I plan to describe some (old and new) results about orthogonal polynomials and polynomial reproducing kernel functions, defined with respect to weighted area measure on the plane. These objects appear naturally in connection with the 2D Coulomb gas at a particular inverse temperature, and they have recently been used to obtain several universality results for this model.
 +
+I will describe a number of equivalent characterisations of planar orthogonality, each offering its own inroad to study large-degree asymptotics. I will then focus on one recent PDE based approach which shares some resemblance with the Riemann-Hilbert approach to orthogonal polynomials on the real line. One of the main results is a surprisingly simple global asymptotic formula for the one-point function (for finite N).
 +
+The talk is based on joint work with Hedenmalm (KTH) and work in progress with Giandinoto (Stockholm University).

In particular, this makes it possible to define cumulants for the theory of traffics and to generalize the notion of freeness for any easy orthogonal groups. We will use these results to study the asymptotic limit of matrix Lévy processes, such as unitary Brownian motion or random walks on the symmetric group: the limit of the latter defines a multiplicative traffic-free Lévy process which is not a free Lévy process. \\  +       Matinée des thésards : Nathan Noiry noirynathan@gmail.com

Firstly, I will  survey recent developments in the theory of quantum automorphism groups of graphs. This is a very young but promising field initiated by Bichon and Banica about fifteen years ago. Together with my PhD student Simon Schmidt, we showed that the quantum symmetry group of a graph C*-algebra is exactly the quantum automorphism group of the graph, hence the graph C*-algebra preserves the quantum symmetries of the underlying graph. A second focus of my talk will be on distributional symmetries for noncommutative independence concepts such as Voiculescu's free independence, Boolean independence or bi-free independence. For all these notions, we have a de Finetti type theorem characterizing iid sequences by distributional symmetries. The technical details of the talk will be mostly algebraic and no knowledge on C*-algebras or quantum groups is assumed.\\ +       Exposés de l'après-midi  Laure Dumaz dumaz@ceremade.dauphine.fr et Camille Male camille.male@math.u-bordeaux.fr
