Rowan Killip is an American–New Zealand mathematician whose work focuses on mathematical physics and in particular the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations. He won a Sloan Research Fellowship in 2004 and a Simons Fellowship in Mathematics in 2015. In 2023, he won, along with Monica Vișan, the Frontiers of Science Award at the International Congress for Basic Science in Beijing, China. He is a speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Philadelphia in 2026. He joined Ceremade in November 2025 on a CNRS Director of Research position.
