Abstract
The Schelling model is an interacting particle system introduced by the economist Thomas Schelling in 1978 to study the segregation of two distinct groups. In this talk, I will present the context of the model and its dynamics of evolution. I will then discuss some results concerning its hydrodynamic limit and introduce several techniques used to derive them.
