Jonathan Chirinos-Rodríguez is a postdoctoral researcher and AI Fellow at PSL University, and a member of CEREMADE (Université Paris-Dauphine, PSL) since September 2026. His research sits at the interface of inverse problems, machine learning, and optimization. He has worked on the analysis and applications of machine learning techniques for inverse problems, particularly image recovery, and more recently on continuous optimization, both convex and nonconvex, including the optimization landscape of nonconvex relaxations of sparsity-promoting problems. He obtained his PhD in Mathematics and Applications from the University of Genova, Italy, in 2024,
