Michael Orieux

Welcome to my website! I am Michael Orieux, I am a postdoctoral fellow at SISSA with Andrei Agrachev since January 2019. I defended my PhD thesis on the 27th of November 2018 at the Université Paris-Dauphine.

Research Interests

I am interested in geometric and dynamical approach in optimal control, more precisely in affine control systems coming from mechanics, as for instance orbit transfer problems. I am also interested in the interactions between symplectic geometry, control theory and dynamics.
