AirportsThere are two main airports near Paris, informations can be found here
- Orly Airport situated in the south of Paris. Access by Public transport via Bus or Orlyval and RER line B
- Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport: situated in the North of Paris. Access by Public transport via RER line B.

RATP is the company in charge of public transports in Paris. You can buy tickets at any Metro station in Paris, as well as at the airports. A ticket for 5 days will cost you less than 40 euros, for an unlimited number of trips inside Paris (Zone 1 to 3). See there for information. If you want to get out of Paris (in the suburb) several times, you can purchase an extended Visit Ticket (Zone from 1 to 5). Be careful, airports are not included in the Paris Visit ticket for Zone 1 to 3. You will have to buy an additional ticket to come and go back to the airport. Airports are included in the Paris Visit ticket Zone 1 to 5.
To reach the conference site, the easiest is to take the RER line B (blue) to the station Luxembourg or the metro line 7 (pink) to Place Monge. You can find your route on ratp.fr.
BikeYou can also use the Bike rental service Velib . You will find many stations all around Paris.
It is now time to book you hotel. There is a huge offer of lodging in Paris. If you want a classical hotel, booking.com will offer a large range of prices. Airbnb is also an option, especially if you want to share a flat. For much cheaper lodging you can try the hostels.
Note that, moving in Paris using public transport (metro, bus, RER, tramway, bike) is really easy and fast. Because the conference takes place in the center of Paris, it is typically accessible from anywhere in Paris within less than 40 minutes.
